Role Type: Senior Delivery Leadership
Role Overview
SimpleWorks is hiring a Lead – Enterprise Software Delivery to drive the execution of complex, high-impact enterprise implementations, primarily within BFSI and regulated environments.
This is not a coordination-heavy or reporting-only role. We are looking for a hands-on delivery leader who understands both technology and execution, and can confidently navigate the realities of enterprise software delivery—integrations, dependencies, stakeholders, and risks.
You will operate at the intersection of delivery, technology, and client leadership, ensuring that enterprise programs are executed with clarity, discipline, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Enterprise Software Delivery Ownership
- Own delivery outcomes for assigned strategic enterprise software implementation projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with expected quality.
- Manage delivery across CRM, workflow/BPM, integrations, automation, AI-enabled features, custom configurations, reporting, data migration, UAT, rollout, and stabilization.
- Understand technical dependencies, delivery risks, integration challenges, and cross-system impacts.
- Drive accountability across project managers, delivery leads, engineering, QA, implementation teams, and cross-functional teams.
- Intervene directly when delivery execution, technology readiness, or client confidence is at risk.
2. BFSI Client & Stakeholder Leadership
- Act as the senior delivery representative for key BFSI and enterprise client engagements.
- Manage senior client stakeholders across business, technology, operations, and transformation teams.
- Engage confidently with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, business heads, operations heads, and program sponsors.
- Understand BFSI delivery realities, including compliance sensitivity, legacy system dependencies, data security expectations, audit discipline, and multi-stakeholder decision-making.
- Build trusted client relationships through delivery clarity, responsiveness, and ownership.
- Handle escalations with structure, maturity, and timely closure.
3. Technology-Aware Delivery Governance
- Establish and strengthen delivery governance across assigned projects.
- Ensure governance includes project plans, technical dependency tracking, integration readiness, risk logs, UAT status, defect trends, release plans, and go-live readiness.
- Review project dashboards, action trackers, change requests, open risks, and technical blockers.
- Improve delivery predictability through structured planning, tracking, and proactive issue management.
- Ensure teams are clear on technical ownership, delivery commitments, timelines, dependencies, and next steps.
4. Implementation & Solution Leadership
- Provide hands-on oversight for active implementation projects.
- Review solution approach, implementation plan, CR impact, release readiness, and technical feasibility.
- Work closely with product, engineering, QA, solutioning, pre-sales, support, and client technology teams.
- Ensure practical alignment between customer expectations, product capability, customization needs, integration scope, and implementation timelines.
- Support successful UAT, go-live, adoption, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Help identify reusable implementation patterns, product gaps, and delivery process improvements.
5. Planning, Resource & Execution Management
- Drive proactive planning before project execution begins.
- Support resource allocation, workload balancing, and delivery readiness.
- Identify skill gaps, capacity risks, dependency risks, and project staffing concerns early.
- Reduce reactive delivery by enforcing planning discipline and early issue visibility.
- Improve utilization, execution stability, and delivery throughput across assigned projects.
6. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Mentor project managers, delivery leads, business analysts, implementation teams, QA teams, and other delivery members.
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Encourage strong collaboration between delivery, product, engineering, QA, support, and customer-facing teams.
- Help teams handle client pressure, technical ambiguity, changing requirements, and complex delivery situations.
- Provide clear feedback and raise the overall delivery maturity of teams.
7. Product, Domain & Platform Understanding
- Develop a strong working understanding of SimpleWorks’ CRM, workflow, automation, integration, reporting, and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Understand how enterprise software platforms are implemented in BFSI environments.
- Translate product and technology understanding into practical delivery decisions.
- Connect delivery execution with customer business problems and measurable value realization.
- Work with product and solutioning teams to improve implementation repeatability and delivery quality.
8. Business & Revenue Alignment
- Support client retention and account growth through strong delivery outcomes.
- Identify delivery-led opportunities for change requests, extensions, additional modules, and deeper adoption.
- Ensure delivery commitments are aligned with commercial scope, effort, timelines, and customer expectations.
- Contribute to delivery margin improvement, implementation efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

- Successful delivery of enterprise software projects in BFSI or regulated client environments.

Required Skills & Competencies
Enterprise Software Delivery
- Strong experience in enterprise software implementation and delivery.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder technology projects.
- Experience delivering platforms such as CRM, workflow/BPM, SaaS, low-code platforms, enterprise automation, digital transformation systems, or customer engagement platforms.
- Strong understanding of the full delivery lifecycle: discovery, planning, configuration, customization, integration, testing, UAT, rollout, go-live, and stabilization.
- Ability to manage scope, risks, dependencies, change requests, release plans, and production readiness.
Technology Experience
- Strong technology orientation and ability to engage meaningfully with engineering, QA, product, solution architecture, and client IT teams.
- Ability to understand solution architecture at a practical delivery level.
- Good understanding of APIs, system integrations, data migration, security expectations, environments, release management, and defect management.
- Ability to identify technical risks early and ensure they are tracked to closure.
- Comfortable discussing technical dependencies and delivery trade-offs with internal teams and client technology stakeholders.
BFSI Domain Exposure
- Strong experience delivering enterprise software projects for BFSI clients is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to banking, NBFC, lending, insurance, wealth, payments, or other regulated financial services environments.
- Understanding of BFSI delivery realities such as legacy systems, data sensitivity, compliance expectations, auditability, branch/user rollouts, operational workflows, and high-stakes stakeholder management.
- Ability to work with both business and technology stakeholders in BFSI organizations.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Strong client-facing maturity.
- Ability to manage senior stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, business heads, operations leaders, and program sponsors.

Experience Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise software delivery, technology delivery, implementation leadership, or program management.
- Proven track record of delivering complex enterprise software implementations.
- Strong experience in BFSI or regulated enterprise software delivery environments.
- Experience working with CRM, workflow/BPM, SaaS/platform products, low-code platforms, enterprise integrations, digital transformation, or automation solutions.
- Experience managing senior business and technology stakeholders at enterprise clients.
- Exposure to both delivery governance and hands-on technology implementation execution.
- Experience working in a product/platform company, enterprise SaaS company, BFSI technology company, or implementation-led technology organization will be preferred.
