Your impact
Lead mechanical engineering activities for
rotary and package equipment, managing design, vendor coordination, and project execution while leading a team of engineers to deliver projects on time, within cost, and as per quality standards.
Lead design, specification, sizing, and selection of
rotary & package equipment, including
- Pumps (Centrifugal, Screw, Dosing, AODD)
- Compressors, Boilers, Thermic Fluid Heaters
- Chillers, Cooling Towers, VAMs, Heat Pumps
- Nitrogen/Oxygen plants, Gas & Fuel systems
- Dryers, Filters, Mixers, Blenders
- Material handling packages (Hoists, EOT/Gantry Cranes)
- Handle engineering across Concept, Basic, FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Costing stages.
- Prepare/review layouts, PFDs, schematics, design basis, datasheets, MRs, enquiry specs, CAPEX/OPEX comparisons.
- Review and approve vendor drawings and technical documents.
- Ensure compliance with IS, ISO, API, ASME, TEMA, CPCB, IBR, EN standards.
Here's what you'll need
Education BE- Mechanical (Post graduation will be added advantage but not mandatory)
Relevant Experience 14 to 18 Years
- Act as Mechanical Discipline Lead for projects.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers/designers.
- Develop micro-schedules aligned with overall project plans.
- Coordinate inputs from other disciplines, clients, and vendors.
- Control engineering manhours and deliverables.
- Maintain strong communication with project management, clients, and suppliers.
Industry Experience Industrial Plants, FMCG, Chemicals / Specialty Chemicals, Electric Battery Manufacturing, and Solar PV Plants.
