Lead/ Manager who shall be responsible for the following:
- Should have experience in engineering design consultancy as a manager / lead in Utility
dept
- Experienced in Black, Clean utility, Gases of greenfield/ brownfield projects for Pharma,
Semiconductor
- Should have competence to generate and review the design documents
- Guide Utility engineers / senior engineers / draftsman/ Site team
- Responsible for Black utility, Clean Utility, Gases system, mechanical equipment’s for plant/ facility
- Understand clean room design with respect to Utility requirement
Responsibilities:
- Direct Utility team and get designing work within a timeline
- Coordinate with Client/ Project manager to get inputs
- Estimate the efforts required for assigned work
- Do periodic site visits to know site status and guide construction teams to streamline the execution
activities. Resolve the site issues related to installation, execution, testing etc.
Design basis – Clean & black utility
• Utility matrix
• Technical specifications- Chillers, Cooling towers, Boilers, HE, vessels etc.
• P& ID for WFI, PW, CHW, CW etc.
• Piping layouts
• Piping Specifications
• Review Vendor drawings
• Bill of quantities
• Technical Bid analysis
• General arrangement drawings
• Design calculation report
• Review of 3-D model
• Design review for Utility discipline documents
- Man-hour estimation for work and maintain productivity
- Review the work progress periodically and maintain the record
- Coordinate with Vendors/ contractors for enquiry floating and TBE
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
- Conduct appraisal review / feedback session to team
Requirements and skills:
- Proven working experience in pharma / Semiconductor projects
- Expert relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
- Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, Revit Model
- Competency in conflict and crisis management
- Leadership and human resources management skills
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Interdisciplinary coordination with other disciplines such as architectural, piping, HVAC, electrical,
automation, etc.
- Communication and interpersonal skills including influencing.
- Ability to work/ delegate in a team as well as own initiative.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s / master’s degree in mechanical / chemical engineering.
- 12+ years relevant experience in Industrial projects is a must.
- Candidate shall be working in an Engineering consulting firm
