We are looking for an experienced Manual Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience in backend, API, database, and system testing for Medical Device connected software applications. The role will focus on validating end-to-end workflows, backend services, APIs, databases, and connected device integrations while ensuring high product quality. Core Responsibilities • Create, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios. • Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and backend testing. • Develop and review test plans, test cases, verification procedures, and test reports. • Perform defect reporting and verification of bug fixes. • Validate workflows across web, mobile, cloud, and connected device ecosystems. • Execute API testing using Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and other API validation tools. • Validate backend data flows and database transactions using SQL or NoSql queries. • Analyze application logs and troubleshooting issues using Linux command-line tools.
Must-Have Skills
• Manual Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, and Regression Testing. • Backend testing and database validation experience. • Strong SQL knowledge including joins, stored procedures, and data validation. • API Testing using Postman and REST APIs. • Knowledge of Linux/Unix commands and log analysis. • Experience working with EMR systems. • Experience in web/mobile application testing. • Experience with defect management and Agile methodologies.
Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience testing Connected Devices, IoT or medical devices. • Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud platforms. • API Automation using REST Assured, Python, Robot Framework, or similar tools. • Experience with ADO/Polarion or similar ALM tools.
Qualification • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in Manual Testing, Backend Testing, API Testing, and SQL Validation. • Experience testing enterprise, healthcare, or connected software systems.
