Opportunity for Microsoft Copilot Engineer - (Bangalore, Chennai)
Overview:
We are seeking a Lead Microsoft Copilot Solutions Engineer to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade Copilot agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio. This role will lead the end-to-end delivery of Copilot solutions across multiple business functions, ensuring high quality, secure, and governed AI experiences aligned with enterprise standards.
The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on Copilot build experience, deep conversational AI design expertise, and the ability to work closely with business and platform stakeholders to drive adoption and value.
Key Responsibilities
Copilot Solution Build
- Lead the design, build, and iteration of Copilot agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Implement policy-based, knowledge-driven (RAG), and task-oriented copilots
- Translate business requirements into intents, topics, prompts, entities, and conversation flows
- Ingest, structure, and curate enterprise knowledge sources (e.g., SharePoint, documents, FAQs)
- Tune prompts and responses to ensure accuracy, relevance, consistency, and enterprise tone
Delivery & Quality
- Deliver Copilot agents across multiple business functions (e.g., HR, Procurement, Legal, Finance)
- Lead testing, pilot deployments, and iterative improvements based on user feedback
- Ensure a consistent user experience, tone, and response quality across all copilots
- Own solution readiness for demos, pilots, and early production use
Governance & Security Alignment
- Build Copilot solutions within defined governance, security, and data access guardrails
- Ensure compliance with data sensitivity classifications and role-based access controls (RBAC)
- Collaborate closely with platform, security, and compliance teams to ensure safe and compliant delivery
Stakeholder Collaboration & Enablement
- Partner directly with business stakeholders to refine requirements and validate outcomes
- Support stakeholder demos, pilots, and early adoption activities
- Define and contribute reusable patterns, templates, and best practices to enable scale
- Provide technical guidance and informal mentoring to junior Copilot builders
Required Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven hands-on experience building enterprise solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Strong understanding of conversational AI design (intents, topics, entities, dialog flows)
- Experience implementing RAG-based Copilot solutions using enterprise knowledge sources
- Strong prompt engineering skills for enterprise, policy-driven, and role-aware use cases
- Experience working with Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
- Ability to work closely with non-technical business stakeholders and iterate rapidly
Desirable
- Experience building Copilot solutions across multiple domains (HR, Legal, Finance, Procurement)
- Familiarity with the Power Platform (Power Automate, Dataverse)
- Understanding of identity, access control, and data sensitivity in enterprise environments
- Experience working in regulated industries or large enterprise environments
