Role: Lead Engineer - Agentic AI / GenAI
Experience - 9 Years+
Location: Hyderabad or Ahmedabad (Hybrid)
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer –GenAI to architect, build, and deliver an Intelligent Document Review & Automated RFP Generation Platform leveraging Generative AI, LLM Agents, RAG pipelines, and Azure Cloud.
You will own the technical direction, design high impact AI capabilities, and lead engineering execution across backend, frontend, and AI workflows. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence product architecture, drive innovation, and build a scalable platform from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and build GenAI-powered document intelligence and automation systems.
- Design scalable microservices, event-driven pipelines, and cloud-native workflows on Azure.
- Develop core AI features: document review, clause extraction, semantic search, summarization, and automated RFP generation.
- Integrate Azure OpenAI services, embeddings, vector databases, and multi-agent systems.
- Build PoCs, evaluate frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen), and optimize LLM model performance.
- Lead engineering execution, enforce coding standards, and conduct design/code reviews.
- Drive sprint planning, technical prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ensure security best practices—RBAC, IAM, API security—and establish observability/monitoring across the platform.
- Partner with DevOps for CI/CD, deployments, and model lifecycle workflows.
- Mentor engineers and support strong architectural and coding decision-making.
Required Skills
- 9+ years in software engineering, architecture, or platform development.
- Strong full-stack expertise: Python, FastAPI, React/Next.js, microservices.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG pipelines.
- Familiarity with agentic frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen.
- Deep understanding of Azure services: App Service, AKS, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, Event Grid/Service Bus, API Management.
- Proven experience in scalable architecture, distributed systems, RBAC, security, observability, and performance tuning.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Background in legal-tech, contract automation, RFP workflows, or document intelligence.
- Knowledge of OCR/Document AI, enterprise search, or knowledge graphs.
- Exposure to MLOps, model optimization, and deployment pipelines.
