About WizCommerce
Wholesale distribution is a $10T+ industry — and most of it still runs on fax, spreadsheets, and legacy ERPs. We're here to change that.
WizCommerce is the AI Operating System for B2B Trade. We build AI-native commerce solutions that sit on top of the ERPs distributors already use — no rip and replace, no 12-month implementations. Just real transformation, fast.
Our platform combines an AI-native CRM, B2B website builder, embedded finance, and AI co-workers (order entry, quoting, content) into one unified system built for how wholesale actually works.
The results speak for themselves:
• 180% Net Revenue Retention
• 4X YoY ARR growth
• 400% growth in customers with >$50K ACV
• 95% implementation success rate (vs. an industry average of 30%)
We serve 150+ customers across North America — from Jaipur Living to Loloi — and we're a fast-growing team backed by Peak XV Partners, Blume Ventures, Alpha Wave Global, and others.
If you want to build category-defining software in a massive, underserved industry — with a team that has genuinely lived the problem — WizCommerce is the place to be.
Our product ecosystem includes:
- WizOrder: AI-powered, mobile-first ordering system for B2B order journeys—even offline.
- WizShop: AI-driven, 24/7 self-service B2B ecommerce platform.
- WizStudio: AI-powered creative platform generating studio-quality lifestyle imagery.
- KAI: Industry's first AI-powered sales assistant with RAG, customer intelligence, and workflow automation.
- WizCRM & WizPay: AI-enhanced CRM and flexible B2B payment solutions.
WizAgent (Roadmap): Agentic marketplace where autonomous AI agents facilitate B2B transactions.
About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Lead DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to own and evolve our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work at the intersection of software engineering and operations — building highly reliable, scalable, and observable systems that power our products. As a lead, you will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and champion a culture of reliability and continuous improvement across the engineering organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain GCP-based infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform and Deployment Manager.
- Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or equivalent).
- Define and enforce SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets; lead incident response and post-mortems.
- Manage Kubernetes (GKE) clusters — autoscaling, upgrades, network policies, and workload security.
- Establish observability standards using tools such as Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
- Drive capacity planning, cost optimisation, and cloud spend governance across GCP projects.
- Champion security best practices: IAM least-privilege, secret management (Secret Manager / Vault), VPC design.
- Collaborate closely with platform, backend, and data engineering teams to deliver reliable deployments.
- Mentor junior and mid-level DevOps/SRE engineers; conduct code and design reviews.
- Evaluate and introduce new tooling to improve developer experience and system reliability.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.
- Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform — Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL,Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, VPC, and IAM.
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code — Terraform (preferred) or Pulumi.
- Deep experience with Kubernetes/GKE: Helm, Kustomize, namespaces, RBAC, network policies.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language — Python, Go, or Bash.
- Proven track record designing and operating large-scale CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Linux internals, networking (DNS, TCP/IP, TLS), and distributed systems.
- Experience defining SLOs and running incident management (on-call, RCA, post-mortems).
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Cloud Professional certifications (Cloud DevOps Engineer, Cloud Architect, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or Flux.
- Knowledge of data infrastructure on GCP — BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc.
- Prior experience in a lead or staff-level role with mentorship responsibilities.
- Exposure to FinOps practices and GCP cost management tools.
