Lead Designer
Location: Full-time, on-site in Chembur, Mumbai
About Pixelfox
Pixelfox is a leading creative agency in Mumbai, specializing in innovative design, video production, and digital storytelling for brands in media, corporate, and entertainment sectors. We're seeking a visionary Design Lead to drive our creative excellence with AI-powered innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Direction: Lead the creative vision for design projects end-to-end, including graphic design, illustrations, branding, and storyboarding. Guide the Design team (and collaborate with Video) to deliver high-impact, client-ready output.
- AI Innovation: Leverage AI tools (e.g., Higgsfield, Nano Banana Pro, Kling AI, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly) to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and production while ensuring human creativity remains at the core. Stay ahead of trends in generative AI, automation, and emerging tech.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with account management, strategy, and video teams to align all design work with brand objectives, business goals, and campaign narratives.
- Quality & Consistency: Oversee deliverables for brand alignment, originality, execution excellence, and AI-enhanced efficiency. Conduct reviews to maintain top-tier standards.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and grow the design team, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, ownership, and AI upskilling through workshops and hands-on guidance.
- Client Interactions: Represent the creative vision in client meetings, pitches, and presentations, articulating AI-driven concepts with clarity, confidence, and data-backed insights.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years in design leadership, with proven expertise in graphic design, illustrations, branding, and storyboarding.
- Advanced proficiency in AI design tools and workflows
- Strong leadership in creative agencies; experience in media/corporate sectors a plus.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills; bonus for Mumbai-based candidates familiar with local trends.
