We’re Hiring | Lead MEP Design Engineer / Co-ordinator – Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Electrical & HVAC

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Lead MEP Design Engineer / Co-ordinator to lead the design, coordination, and implementation of plumbing, electrical and fire protection systems across residential, commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and mixed-use developments.
This role also requires strong team leadership and coordination capabilities, similar to an MEP Team Leader/Co-ordinator, ensuring seamless execution across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities (Any 2 Discipline)
Plumbing Systems
- Prepare Design Basis Reports (DBR) as per project requirements and codes
- Develop schematics for water supply & drainage systems
- Perform water demand, pipe sizing & pump head calculations
- Design UGT & OHT capacities
- Coordinate with architects, consultants & internal MEP teams
- Prepare BOQs, technical specifications & cost estimates
- Support tender & execution documentation
Fire Fighting Systems
- Design sprinkler, hydrant & hose reel systems
- Prepare schematics and layouts
- Perform fire pump head & pipe sizing calculations
Prepare BOQs and technical inputs for tender & execution
HVAC System Design
- Prepare Design Basis Reports (DBR) as per project requirements, standards, and codes
- Design HVAC systems including chilled water, VRF/VRV, ventilation & air distribution systems
- Perform heat load calculations, duct sizing, pipe sizing & equipment selection
- Develop HVAC layouts, schematics, and detailed engineering drawings
- Ensure energy-efficient and cost-effective system design
Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and coordinate with multidisciplinary MEP teams
- Handle high-rise building projects and complex coordination
- Ensure smooth communication between internal teams and external stakeholders
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards
Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in plumbing, electrical, HVAC & fire fighting system design (Any one)
- Proficient in AutoCAD & MEP design tools
- Experience in multidisciplinary coordination & clash resolution
- Strong engineering calculations & cost estimation skills
- Excellent communication skills & presentable personality
Preferred Candidates:
- B.E / B.Tech (Full-time – Mandatory)
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in MEP consultancy
- Minimum 5 years experience in engineering consultancy projects (Residential, Commercial, Hospital, Hotel, etc.)
- Experience in high-rise building design & coordination (projects above 250 meters will be an added advantage)
