Role Purpose
Drive planning, coordination, and operational efficiency across the design function. The role ensures structured execution of design deliverables by managing schedules, workflows, and technical coordination—enabling teams to deliver on time, with clarity and control.
Key Responsibilities
1. Planning & Scheduling
- Own and manage design schedules, resource plans, and work allocation
- Monitor progress against milestones and proactively flag risks or constraints
- Balance workload across disciplines to optimize team productivity
- Support short- and medium-term planning aligned to project priorities
2. Design Operations & Coordination
- Coordinate end-to-end flow of technical deliverables (drawings, reports, reviews)
- Ensure alignment across engineers, designers, and project teams
- Manage dependencies, priorities, and sequencing of work
- Drive structured communication across teams and stakeholders
3. Project Delivery Support
- Support planning, execution, and close-out of design deliverables
- Track progress, identify risks, and support mitigation actions
- Prepare dashboards, status reports, and planning insights
- Improve workflow efficiency and delivery predictability
4. Documentation & Governance
- Ensure accuracy and control of design documentation and registers
- Manage document flow (revisions, approvals, transmittals)
- Support compliance with quality systems and project requirements
- Maintain structured records to support audits and delivery control
5. Team Enablement
- Support onboarding coordination and team readiness
- Enable structured ways of working across the design function
- Act as the central point for coordination, planning clarity, and execution rhythm

- Reliable and actionable design schedules and plans
- Smooth coordination of technical deliverables across teams
- Improved on-time delivery and reduced scheduling conflicts
- Clear visibility of progress, risks, and priorities
Skills & Experience
- 10 years of Experience in design coordination, project planning, or technical operations
- Strong understanding of engineering/design workflows
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Proficiency in planning tools (Excel, MS Project, or similar)
- Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills
