Role Overview:
As a Lead Decision Scientist, you will be responsible for driving advanced analytics and AI initiatives, guiding a team of Decision Scientists, and delivering high-impact insights that inform strategic business decisions. You will lead the development of statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and decision support tools, ensuring best practices in coding, documentation, and visualization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor a team of Decision Scientists, ensuring high-quality deliverables and continuous skill development.
• Design, implement, and oversee complex analytical solutions, including advanced ML and Agentic AI algorithms.
• Prepare analytical datasets by integrating multiple, complex data sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Build practitioner-level statistical models and machine learning algorithms for forecasting, optimization, clustering, NLP, and decision-making.
• Develop structured, modularized, and reusable code assets (Python, SQL, Spark), documenting work on GitHub/Wiki for knowledge sharing.
• Create intuitive visualizations and decision-support layers (Tableau, Python, PPT) for non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into analytical solutions.
Qualifications & Skills:
• 7+ years of experience in applied statistics, data science, or machine learning.
• Strong foundation in applied math: regression, design of experiments, decision trees, forecasting, optimization, clustering, NLP.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, Hadoop, Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, GitHub.
• Demonstrated experience in developing scalable ML algorithms and statistical models.
