Role Description The Azure Data Integration Engineer (Immediate Joiners) will work full time in a hybrid model based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data integration solutions on Azure, including pipelines, data flows, and ETL processes that connect diverse source systems to data warehouses and analytical platforms. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, model data structures, and ensure reliable, secure, and scalable data movement. Day-to-day activities include implementing and optimizing data models, monitoring data pipelines, troubleshooting integration issues, improving performance, and documenting technical designs and processes. The role also involves contributing to best practices for data governance, quality, and security within the Azure environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum exp of 9 years
- Candidates should possess strong Data Engineering skills, including experience with Azure-based data integration tools and services.
- Candidates should possess Data Modeling and Data Warehousing skills to design, implement, and optimize scalable analytical data structures.
- Candidates should possess Extract Transform Load (ETL) capabilities, including building, scheduling, and monitoring robust data pipelines.
- Candidates should possess Data Analytics skills to support reporting, dashboards, and insight generation from integrated data.
- Experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, and related storage technologies is highly beneficial.
- Solid understanding of SQL, relational databases, and at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python) is preferred.
- Background in data quality, governance, and security practices within cloud environments is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in hybrid and cross-functional teams.
