Lead Data Engineer – Andheri, Mumbai
- Experience: 8–12 years
- Qualification: Bachelor’s in Engineering/Computer Science or related field
We are hiring a Lead Data Engineer to design, develop, and manage scalable data pipelines using modern cloud technologies. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality, reliable data flow to support analytics, reporting, and business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data engineering tools, cloud platforms, and data warehousing concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for efficient data ingestion and processing
- Configure and manage data extraction workflows using Airbyte
- Develop transformation models using dbt to structure and optimize data
- Design scalable and high-performance data models in Snowflake
- Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability
- Implement data validation and quality checks to maintain data integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data solutions
Required Skills
- Strong SQL expertise for data querying and transformation
- Hands-on experience with Airbyte, dbt, and Snowflake
- Solid understanding of data modeling, CDC, and data quality frameworks
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Basic database administration (1–2 years preferred)
- Experience: 8–12 years
- Qualification: Bachelor’s in Engineering/Computer Science or related field
