Job Title: Lead - Data Analytics and Insights

The Purpose of this Role

This role is a part of Real Estate Analytics Team supporting the Real Estate business of Fidelity Investments. As a Lead Analyst, you will join the Real Estate Analytics Team to help with providing trusted insights, analytical solutions and relevant storyboarding empowering the leadership on space, and workspace experience-related decision making. You are expected to employ techniques and concepts such as statistical modeling, data mining / predictive analytics, machine learning and other analytics methods to support decision making. This role involves partnering with the US Real Estate Research & Analytics team to offer analytical solutions to workspace questions,

Roles & Responsibilities Of This Role

• Work with business stakeholders to understand business problems and create solution logic with sound domain & data knowledge. Develop strong understanding of the Real Estate business’s objective vision & KPIs
• Data processing: Perform data preparation including merging, data transformations, and other massaging using Python / SQL / Snowflake
• General Analysis: Combine in-depth domain knowledge with technical skills such as statistical methods, data mining, AI/ML, data visualization, to identify insights on space usage, usage behavioral trends, workspace experience & engagement
• Model development: Applying statistical techniques including exploratory data analysis, predictive analytics, optimization, scenario modeling, developing ML models (Regressions | Decision Trees | Boosting models | LLMs, etc.,) to identify highlight gaps, optimization opportunities, and key drivers of workspace experience
• Data environment enhancement: Work closely with database teams, to onboard additional required datasets to expand the holistic view of the analysis
• Delivering Storyboards: Design automated tableau dashboards as a self-service tool for different Real Estate stakeholders
• Manage multiple projects effectively, with an objective to progress it to finished deliverable
• Effectively communicate findings, concerns, ideas, project management elements to senior stakeholders in an offshore-onshore environment.
• Work within and across teams / sub-teams wherever the project demands
  
  

The Expertise we are Looking for,

• 3-6 years of experience in organizations known for best-in class applications of Analytics solutions. Preferable to have working experience on business problems utilizing primarily capacity planning, secondary research, predictive modelling, value-added knowledge services analysis, insight-building, consulting
• Post graduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative discipline or MBA from a premier school
  
  

The Skills That Are Key To This Role Are,

• Statistical and data analytics programming skills, such as Python
• Strong knowledge of Statistics, Machine Learning Techniques
• Strong knowledge & experience working with visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI
• Strong knowledge & experience working with SQL, Snowflake
• Ability to process data to draw insights, answering “so what” questions about data
• Comfort with unstructured data and niche industries/ products/ services
• Ability to develop effective presentations and reports employing powerful storyboarding concepts and skills
• Strong work ethic in terms of time management, ownership of project

• Hands-on experience with leveraging LLMs for sentiment mining & thematic analysis
