Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Equity Fundraising Leader to drive the company’s capital strategy through equity raises, investor engagement, and strategic transactions. This role will own end-to-end equity fundraising, shape investor narratives, and support long-term value creation through strategic finance initiatives including M&A and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Equity Fundraising & Capital Strategy

• Lead end-to-end equity fundraising (VC/PE, growth capital, strategic investors)
• Define capital strategy aligned with business growth and expansion plans
• Structure and execute funding rounds including valuation, term sheets, and negotiations

Investor Relations & Stakeholder Management

• Build and manage relationships with investors, funds, and strategic stakeholders
• Own investor communication including pitch decks, data rooms, and financial storytelling
• Act as a key interface between leadership and external investors

Deal Execution (Equity & Strategic Transactions)

• Drive end-to-end deal lifecycle — sourcing, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and closure
• Support and execute M&A and strategic investments aligned with business goals

Strategic Finance & Business Planning

• Partner with CEO/CFO to shape long-term financial strategy and capital allocation
• Evaluate growth opportunities, new business models, and expansion initiatives
• Build robust financial models to support decision-making

Market Intelligence & Insights

• Track market trends, investor sentiment, and competitive landscape
• Benchmark valuation, funding trends, and deal structures within industry

Leadership & Team Management

• Build and lead a high-performing Corporate Finance / Investor Relations team
• Drive collaboration across finance, strategy, and business teams

Ideal Candidate Profile

• CA, MBA + B.Tech from Tier-1 institutions
• 10 -14 years of experience in Investment Banking / Private Equity / Corporate Finance Equity-focused)
• Strong track record of equity fundraising and deal closures
• Deep network across VCs, PEs, and institutional investors
• Experience in technology / EV / automotive ecosystem preferred
• Strong expertise in financial modelling, valuation, and transaction structuring
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
