Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Siemens Opcenter/MOM Technical Lead to design, develop, and deliver complex Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) solutions across global discrete manufacturing environments.
Job Location: Germany
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead complex Siemens Opcenter & Mendix UI/backend development and customizations.
- Design and implement scalable MOM/MES solutions for discrete manufacturing processes.
- Drive full lifecycle delivery: requirements → development → testing → deployment → support.
- Build and manage integrations between MOM and SAP/PLM/APS/Reporting/shop‑floor systems.
- Develop Automation Gateway logic for machine, quality, and shop‑floor data collection.
- Write and review complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and DB objects (Oracle/SQL Server).
- Define MOM architecture, coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and best practices.
- Mentor junior developers, guide technical teams, and resolve complex production issues.
- Manage Git repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud (AWS/Azure) environments.
- Optimize application & database performance and maintain MOM dashboards/KPIs.
Technical Skills:
Siemens Opcenter (Must‑Have):
- Opcenter Execution Discrete (Production, Quality, Maintenance, Inventory, Time & Labor)
- Project Studio / Solution Studio (backend logic, events, commands, extensions, ODATA)
- Mendix (microflows, nanoflows, workflows, logic embedding)
- UI customization: AngularJS, HTML, CSS
Integrations:
- SAP / PLM / Scheduling (APS) integrations
- AIG or Opcenter Connect usage
- REST APIs, SOAP, ODATA
- Kafka, ActiveMQ, MQTT, OPC
- Shop‑floor: PLCs, CNCs, Historians, Tooling data
Database Skills:
- Oracle / SSMS
- Complex SQL, SPs, functions, tables, facets, entities
DevOps & Cloud:
- Git, CI/CD, TFS/Azure DevOps
- AWS/Azure provisioning & monitoring
- Multi-threading, load balancer understanding
