About the Role
The Lead - Compliance Testing is responsible for overseeing and executing the compliance testing plan to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies. This role involves designing testing strategies, conducting reviews, analyzing data, preparing reports, and maintaining continuous engagement with stakeholders to ensure suitable corrective actions. Strong knowledge of banking regulations, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage a team are essential attributes for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise team members in their day-to-day activities.
- Prepare the Annual Compliance Testing Plan.
- Conduct compliance testing for underlying functions as per the Annual Compliance Testing Plan.
- Review new products launched by the Bank after six months of launch.
- Test assigned branches for compliance.
- Prepare draft observations, discuss with concerned stakeholders, and obtain management responses.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely closure of actions.
- Maintain MIS of open observations tracker including ageing and due dates.
- Support in preparation of MIS for presentation in various committees.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Ensure the team adheres to the plan and scope coverage is adequate.
- Review observations raised by the team and work with stakeholders to devise an action plan.
- Engage closely with the team and guide them to deliver effectively.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- Graduation: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, Commerce, Arts, Science, Biology, Business, Computers, or Management.
- Post-graduation: Chartered Accountant or a Management degree in Finance is preferable.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
