Job Summary
The Lead HR Business & Functional Analyst will partner closely with HR Service Delivery, HRIT, and cross‑functional IT teams to support, enhance, and deliver high‑quality HR solutions within our SAP HCM environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and usability of HR master data and supports the Employee Data Management (EDM) team through analysis, requirement gathering, testing, and process improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings strong SAP HCM OM/PA knowledge, excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, and the ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements. This role requires collaboration, strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced agile environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with HR and IT stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into clear features, stories, and requirements.
- Support the end‑to‑end testing lifecycle, including creating test cases, performing and coordinating UAT, and collaborating with business partners through test execution and approvals.
- Communicate proactively throughout testing, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely approval.
- Assist with integration testing and post‑go‑live support, ensuring defects are logged, tracked, and resolved in partnership with IT teams.
- Maintain accurate story and feature status within Agility to ensure alignment with business priorities and sprint goals.
- Ensure documentation is created, updated, and stored in alignment with HRIT/EDM audit and governance requirements.
- Provide timely clarifications to functional and technical teams, ensuring requirements and acceptance criteria are fully understood.
- Collaborate with developers and functional analysts to review specifications and support solution design discussions.
- Research data issues, map processes, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Build strong, professional relationships with business owners, HR partners, and IT stakeholders to ensure effective communication and smooth delivery of solutions.
What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Systems, or related field).
- Minimum 7+ years of SAP HCM experience, specifically PA/OM functionality.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to break down complex business processes.
- Experience supporting testing efforts (integration, regression, and UAT).
- Ability to write clear, structured business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- High level of initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with data migration is a plus.
- Experience with Agility or other agile tools preferred but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Systems, or related field) or equivalent SAP experience.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central is a plus.
