🌿 We're Hiring: Lead Barista | BetterGreens, Gurgaon
BetterGreens is a premium grocery, bakery, and café experience — coming soon to Gurgaon. Coffee is at the heart of what we do. We're building a café where every cup is intentional, every interaction is warm, and the experience keeps people coming back.
We're looking for a Lead Barista who doesn't just make great coffee — but elevates the entire café experience around it.
What you'll do:
→ Own the coffee bar — from dialling in espresso to maintaining consistency across every drink
→ Work on high-end espresso equipment and keep it in peak condition
→ Lead and train junior baristas, setting the standard for quality and service
→ Develop and refine the café menu — including signature drinks, seasonal specials, and fruit-forward coffee creations
→ Work on smoothies, cold brews, and non-coffee beverages with the same care
→ Build genuine relationships with regulars and create a community around the café
→ Contribute to store operations, maintaining hygiene and presentation standards
What we're looking for:
✔ 2–5 years of barista experience, with at least 1 year in a senior or lead role
✔ Strong foundation in espresso technique, milk texturing, and brew methods
✔ Experience working on specialty or third-wave coffee setups preferred
✔ A natural with people — warm, engaging, and genuinely curious about guests ✔ High ownership mindset — you treat the bar like it's yours
✔ Interest in food, produce, and the wider café experience
This isn't a role for someone who just wants to pull shots. We want someone who cares deeply about coffee, people, and the kind of place BetterGreens is becoming.
