Requirements
- 5+ years experience as Backend / Systems / Platform Engineer
- Must been a founding engineer previously or seen 0-1 single journey
- Strong experience building and scaling distributed systems in production
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures
- Strong knowledge of streaming and messaging systems like Kafka
- Experience building Big Data pipelines using Spark or similar tools
- Experience with at least one cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong fundamentals in system design, data structures, and performance tuning
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, distributed backend systems and data pipelines
- Own platform architecture across compute, storage, streaming, and orchestration
- Develop cloud-native services using Kubernetes and microservices patterns
- Build and optimize real-time and batch data pipelines
- Improve reliability, performance, observability, and cost efficiency
- Lead technical design discussions and mentor engineers
- Own services end-to-end from design to production stability
