As a Lead Associate - Buying with 4.4-6.3 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in driving the buying strategies and operations of the business. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the procurement process, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement buying strategies to meet the company's objectives and financial goals.
- Source, select, and negotiate with vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase orders, contracts, and vendor performance evaluation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their buying needs and requirements.
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels to meet demand.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement in the buying process.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Lead and develop a team of buying professionals to achieve departmental goals.

- Proven experience in buying, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
