Role Description The Lead Architect role at HomeSutra is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. This role oversees end-to-end architectural design for residential projects, from concept development and space planning to detailed drawings and coordination with structural, MEP, and interior teams. The Lead Architect collaborates closely with clients to understand their lifestyle, budget, and design preferences, translating them into practical, aesthetic, and compliant solutions aligned with HomeSutra’s integrated Design-to-Move-in model. Daily responsibilities include guiding junior architects, reviewing and approving design deliverables, ensuring adherence to building codes and standards, and coordinating with project management and construction teams for smooth execution. The role also involves contributing to process improvements, integrating technology and systems into design workflows, and maintaining design quality and consistency across projects.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, planning, detailing, and familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
- Experience in Project Management within residential construction, covering schedules, coordination with cross-functional teams, and quality control throughout design and execution.
- Understanding of technology-driven workflows, including Software Development and Integration concepts, to collaborate with product/tech teams on design tools, platforms, and project management systems.
- Advanced skills in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and comfort with digital collaboration tools and documentation systems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
- Proven experience leading design teams on residential projects, with a portfolio showcasing contemporary, functional, and context-aware designs.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts clearly to clients and internal teams.
