Position Description
Key Responsabilités
Windows Environment Support
- Provide Tier 3 support for Windows client and server environments.
- Troubleshoot OS‑level issues, application failures, performance problems, and agent-related incidents.
Active Directory & DNS
- Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory objects, Group Policy, OU structure, and authentication issues.
- Perform DNS configuration, monitoring, and resolution problem troubleshooting.
SCCM / Endpoint Configuration Manager
- Administer SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for software deployment, client health, collections, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot SCCM agents, communication issues, and reporting discrepancies.
Patching & Compliance
- Execute monthly patch cycles for Windows systems using SCCM.
- Validate patch compliance and remediate failed deployments.
- Assist in vulnerability mitigation through OS updates and configuration improvements.
Upgrades & Migrations
- Participate in OS upgrade and migration projects (e.g., Windows 10 → Windows 11, server OS transitions).
- Support endpoint migrations, device enrollment, and agent installation/repair.
- Document process changes and ensure smooth end‑user communication.
Incident Resolution & Documentation
- Work through escalated incidents, perform root‑cause analyses, and propose corrective actions.
- Maintain system documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (network, security, cloud, etc.) to resolve complex issues.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Active Directory administration (GPOs, user/computer mgmt, ACLs).
- Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, and core Windows networking.
- Hands‑on experience with SCCM (administration, deployments, client health).
- Expertise in Windows patching, OS upgrades, and migration processes.
- Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot agent-related issues (SCCM, antivirus, monitoring tools, etc.).
- Good scripting knowledge (PowerShell is a plus).
- Analytical mindset with excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with endpoint security and hardening standards.
Mandatory Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 15+ years of progressively responsible experience administering Windows Server in large enterprise environments (1000+ servers or multi‑region).
- Deep expertise in: GPO, DNS/DHCP, multi‑site replication, LDAP/Kerberos. PowerShell (advanced scripting, DSC, automation at scale). Virtualization: Hyper‑V and/or VMware (HA/DRS/Clusters/Storage). Hybrid identity: Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, AAD Connect/Cloud Sync, SSO/federation. PKI/AD CS and certificate lifecycle management. WSUS and MECM/SCCM for patching and configuration. Failover Clustering, S2D, DFS, File/Print, IIS, RDS. Backup/restore frameworks (e.g., Veeam) and tested DR strategies. Server security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and audit support.
- Strong troubleshooting across OS, authentication, networking (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, firewalls, DNS), and storage layers.
- Proven ownership of platform upgrades/migrations (e.g., 2012 R2 → 2019/2022), domain functional level raises, and legacy remediation.
- Experience operating under ITIL practices (Change, Incident, Problem, CMDB).
- Excellent documentation, stakeholder communication, and mentoring skills.
