What You’ll Do
We are seeking a highly motivated Lead Analyst to support the implementation of our Engineering Information Management (EIM) and Digital Thread strategy.
This role will lead the digitization of engineering processes and artifacts currently managed in Excel, while helping design and deploy integrated solutions that connect engineering tools across the product lifecycle. The candidate will play a key role in enabling data-driven, automated, and AI-supported engineering workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the digitization of engineering artifacts (e.g., DFMEA, requirements, compliance, validation) by replacing manual/Excel-based processes with scalable digital solutions
- Support implementation of Digital Thread use cases by connecting engineering tools across the lifecycle to enable traceability and data flow
- Analyze business processes and define requirements, data models, and workflows for engineering systems
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to design and implement integrations between systems (e.g., PLM, ALM, simulation tools) Leveraging the selected Digital Thread Platform
- Contribute to development of common data models and centralized repositories for engineering data
- Drive automation and efficiency improvements in engineering processes, including use of AI for:
- Data extraction and validation
- Compliance and reporting automation
- Engineering workflow optimization
- Support solution delivery lifecycle (requirements → design → testing → deployment)
- Develop both tactical execution plans and strategic roadmaps for EIM and digitization initiatives
- Coordinate with vendors and system integrators to deliver solutions aligned with business needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 6–12 years of experience in business analysis, engineering systems, or IT applications
Skills
- Experience working with engineering platforms such as:
- PLM (e.g., Enovia), ALM (e.g., Jama), or similar tools
- Requirements gathering and process analysis
- Data modeling and workflow design
- Systems integration and solution delivery
- Experience working in cross-functional environments (Engineering + IT)
- Experience with Digital Thread or Digital Engineering initiatives
- Familiarity with engineering artifact digitization (DFMEA, DVP&R, requirements, etc.)
- Exposure to AI/ML use cases in engineering or process automation
- Knowledge of data platforms, APIs, or integration tools
- Experience working with external vendors
