Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Agronomist, located in Sambhal. The Lead Agronomist will oversee and optimize hydroponic farm operations, manage soil science and irrigation systems, and ensure the health and nutrition of plants. The role includes developing strategies for improving crop yield and quality, conducting research on advanced agricultural techniques, and collaborating with the team to implement innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will contribute to the sustainability goals of the farm while maintaining a hands-on approach to daily operations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Soil Science and Agriculture principles.
- Hands-on expertise in Irrigation management and Plant Nutrition.
- Experience in Research focused on advanced farming techniques.
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of sustainable farming practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture Science, or related fields.
- Previous experience of 3-5 years working in a hydroponic or controlled-environment agriculture setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to lead a team effectively.
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to the dynamic nature of farming operations.
