Role Description
The Lead Accountant will oversee the financial operations of our organization and clients, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in financial reporting and processes. Responsibilities include managing accounting functions, preparing financial statements, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, monitoring compliance with tax regulations, and providing financial insights to support decision-making. The role requires leadership to mentor and guide junior team members. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Bengaluru South.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting and financial management skills, including accounts payable/receivable, expense management, and payroll processing
- Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliation
- Keen understanding of tax regulations, corporate compliance, and statutory filings
- Proficiency with accounting software (Zoho Books and financial tools)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities for data-driven decision-making
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to manage and guide a team
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Qualifications like CA Inter, CMA Inter are highly desirable
- Prior experience in financial consulting or startup environments is a plus
- Prior experience in CA Firms is a must.
