Major Accountabilities
Local Payroll & Statutory Compliance
- Manage Sandoz India compliance frameworks, governance, and controls.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local laws, regulations, statutory filings, and record-keeping requirements.
- Maintain local policies, procedures, and documentation aligned with local statutory requirements.
- Complete local payroll reviews and checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Oversee physical and digital employee record retention and maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for local statutory purposes.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping practices for audits, and inspections.
- Support the Sandoz India during audits, regulatory inspections, and preparation of responses to labor authorities.
- Monitor changes in local labor laws and regulations, ensuring timely updates and compliance across HR practices.
- Advise SILT on compliance requirements and best practices.
Provident Fund: EPFO & PF Trust Operations
- Manage EPF submissions, returns, challans, statutory filings.
- Handle PF Trust / EPFO activities including investment compliance, board reporting, reconciliations, audits.
- Ensure timely PF transfers, withdrawals, KYC, UAN activation.
- Address PF Trust rules and regulatory updates.
Retirals: Gratuity, NPS, Superannuation
- Administer Gratuity calculations and settlements.
- Oversee Superannuation remittances and employee statements.
- Manage National Pension System (NPS) contributions and reconciliation.
Shops & Establishments & Labour Codes Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Shops & Establishments Act.
- Implement compliance for Social Security Code and Wage Code.
- Maintain statutory registers and audit documentation.
- Manage Labour Welfare Fund, Professional Tax, and other state statutory contributions.
- Ensure accurate filings, reconciliation, and compliance calendars.
Employee & Stakeholder Query Handling
- Resolve grievances related to PF, PF Trust, Gratuity, NPS, LWF, PT.
- Provide advisory support to P&O BPs and business stakeholders.
Key Performance Indicators
- 100% statutory compliance.
- Zero non-compliance observations.
- Timely delivery of retirals processes.
- SLA-based grievance resolution.
- PF Trust compliance and timely board submissions.
