Grid-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is one of the most important pillars of India’s energy transition over the next decade. At Equentia Energy , we are building utility-scale storage assets and looking to bring on board, Lead - Engineering & Design to help architect and deliver large-scale BESS projects.
This role is ideal for engineers currently working in power EPC companies, renewable developers, grid infrastructure firms, or energy technology providers who want to step into a leadership-track role in the fast-emerging BESS sector.
What you will lead:
• Engineering architecture and design for utility-scale BESS projects
• Integration of battery systems, PCS, EMS/SCADA, transformers, switchgear, and balance-of-plant
• Technical coordination with EPC contractors, OEMs, and grid operators
• Design optimization, vendor technical evaluation, and engineering oversight
• Ensuring compliance with CEA regulations, grid codes, safety standards, certifications and project technical standards

Relevant Commissioning Experience: 5–7 years
