About the Role:
• Acts as Safety Manager and Cybersecurity Manager, defining safety and cybersecurity concepts end-to-end.
• Ensures products meet ISO 26262, ISO 21434, and AIS-189/190 (UNECE R155/R156 alignment); supports homologation audits.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead ISO 26262 lifecycle: Item Definition → HARA → Safety Goals/ASILs → Safety Concept/Architecture → DFMEA/FMEDA → Safety Case & Release.
• Run ISO 21434 activities: TARA (HEAVENS/EVITA), cybersecurity concept/architecture, mitigation planning, and supplier security assessments.
• Implement secure boot, secure diagnostics (UDS Seed-Key), OTA security, HSM/TPM, PKI/certificate provisioning (incl. ISO 15118).
• Define and validate SW update/rollback policies, SBOM handling, and campaign safety (AIS-190).
• Execute verification: fault injection on HIL, fuzzing, vuln scanning, pen-testing; enforce MISRA-C & Polyspace gates.
• Maintain full traceability in DOORS/Polarion/Jama; ensure audit readiness (ARAI/ICAT, customer SPICE).
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
• B.E./M.Tech in EE/ECE; 10–15 years in automotive functional safety and/or product cybersecurity.
• Certified ISO 26262 (e.g., TUV FS Eng.) and ISO 21434 (or equivalent); ASPICE experience.
Skills & Functional Competencies required:
• ISO 26262 (parts 3–7, 8), safety mechanisms, dependent failures, diagnostic coverage.
• ISO 21434 lifecycle, TARA methods (HEAVENS, EVITA), UNECE R155/R156 / AIS-189/190 alignment.
• HSM/TPM, secure boot/OTA, certificate & key provisioning, PKI (incl. ISO 15118), secure UDS.
• MBD, Embedded C, Embedded Coder, AUTOSAR, CAN/J1939, CAPL scripting.
