About the role

As the Category Manager for Groceries, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the category growth strategy for Lazada's Grocery business. You will work closely with the broader Commercial team and other key stakeholders to drive performance and profitability for the category. Key responsibilities include: - Develop and execute the category growth strategy and annual plan for Grocery, leveraging in-depth market and consumer insights - Manage the Grocery product assortment, optimizing the portfolio to deliver on category and business objectives - Drive pricing and promotional strategies to achieve volume, revenue and margin targets - Lead the development of compelling marketing campaigns and content to drive customer engagement and conversion - Collaborate with Merchants, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and a great customer experience - Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activity, and adapt the category strategy accordingly - Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure the performance of the category - Provide regular reports and updates on category performance to senior stakeholders
