<div>Position Overview<br>We are seeking a Workers’ Compensation Attorney with at least 1 year of experience in California workers’ compensation law. <strong>This role is based in-office</strong> in Los Angeles / Oakland and includes both case handling responsibilities and oversight of a team of case managers.<br><br>

<div>This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to expand into a leadership role while continuing to develop litigation skills.<br><br>

<div>Key Responsibilities<br><br>
</div>
<ul>
<li>Manage a full caseload of workers’ compensation matters from inception through resolution</li>
<li>Appear at hearings, conferences, depositions, and trials as required</li>
<li>Supervise and provide direction to a team of case managers</li>
<li>Review case manager work to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and proper case progression</li>
<li>Communicate with clients, adjusters, opposing counsel, and medical providers</li>
<li>Draft pleadings, motions, and settlement documents</li>
<li>Evaluate cases and lead settlement negotiations</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with WCAB procedures, deadlines, and internal workflows</li>
</ul>
<div>Qualifications<br><br>
</div>
<ul>
<li>Active California Bar license (required)</li>
<li>Minimum <strong>1 year of workers’ compensation experience</strong>
</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of WCAB procedures and California labor code</li>
<li>Prior experience supervising or mentoring staff is a plus</li>
<li>Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills</li>
<li>Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while overseeing support staff</li>
<li>Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus</li>
