OVERVIEW

The Lavazza Digital Associate owns the digital marketing perimeter of the Lavazza brand team in North America.  This role understands the coffee category, competition, and brand performance, supporting the brand manager in day-to-day brand tasks, while specifically owning the digital realm.  The digital responsibilities encompass everything from managing Amazon upper/middle funnel strategy to setting benchmarks and monitoring performance across national media campaigns, social (organic and paid), and partnering with the eCommerce team on CRM strategy and extending marketing activations to Lavazza D2C sites.   This role also supports the Lavazza Brand Manager in brand strategy projects as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for Amazon upper and middle funnel strategy, including display spend allocation, targeting, creative strategy, and integration with awareness tools.  Setting benchmarks and analysing performance.
• Responsible for social and digital strategy execution – both organic and paid strategy, from agency briefing, day-to-day performance monitoring and managing both the agency and HQ content / media teams
• Working together with eCommerce team, supervision over CRM strategy, ensuring consistency between CRM strategy and overall brand development
• Responsible for US brand team budget administration, including new vendor setup and management, PO creation and management, and invoice management
• Responsible for understanding current coffee business and trends, brand performance, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to be able to support Lavazza Brand Manager in building a successful brand and annual marketing strategy

Support strategic brand initiatives as guided by Lavazza Brand Manager

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, ideally in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred
• 1-3 years digital marketing or related experience
• Strong communication skills
• Strong proficiency in PPT, Excel
• Ability understand and manipulate syndicated data such as Nielsen, Numerator, IRI, etc.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to travel as needed up to 10% of time
