Job Description
Primary Purpose
Is responsible for managing overall daily operations of the Laundry Room to deliver an excellent Guest experience while ensuring quality controls and guest inquiries.
Skills & Major Accountabilities Of Position (4-6 Major Accountabilities)
- Should have good communication skills and organisational and planning skills.
- Should be a computer literate, knowledge of related property software.
- Working knowledge of the operation and care of commercial machines.
- Understanding of various cleaning agents and their proper usage and safety protocols.
- Should be accountable and spirited.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Should works in close co-ordination with the Laundry Executive and prepares working schedule for staff to ensure highest efficiency of time utilization.
- Should maintain the highest standard of Guest Laundry and House Laundry at all times and straighten out any discrepancy in guest laundry.
- Should train new employees to meet Hotel standards and follow SOP’s.
- Ensures that all laundry equipment and machines are periodically maintained by the Engineering Department.
- Should ensure par stocks are maintained and take receipt of stock and ensure safe storage.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate with clients or staff regarding laundry needs or concerns.
- Should perform additional assignments as given by the management.
Experience And Qualifications Required For The Job
Bachelor’s degree with atleast 2-3 years of previous experience in good five star hotels.
Should have worked in laundry as Laundry Technician.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s degree or a related field
