Staff Engineer Distributed Systems

As a Staff Distributed Systems Engineer on LaunchDarkly's Flag Delivery Network (FDN) team, you'll play a critical role in shaping one of the most high-performance, globally distributed systems powering modern software delivery. The FDN is responsible for delivering feature flags and configuration at massive scale to LaunchDarkly's customers around the world. You'll be working on challenging problems like building reliable, low-latency, geo-distributed data pipelines, high-throughput caching systems, and real-time data processing and streaming. You'll collaborate closely with our platform, infrastructure, and backend engineering teams to evolve the FDN's architecture and ensure it continues to meet the needs of our fast-growing customer base. Our technology stack includes Golang, gRPC, Kafka, Redis, and Kubernetes.
