About the role

Job Summary

Under general supervision of the Superintendent or designee, the Supervisor of Maintenance & Operations is responsible for the daily operations and planning of the Maintenance, Operations, and Facilities Department. This includes coordinating, directing, supervising, and evaluating a district-wide building and grounds maintenance program and related activities to ensure safe, functional, and well-maintained school facilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supervising maintenance and custodial staff and projects, managing work orders, overseeing alteration and improvement projects, and coordinating construction, reconstruction, modernization, and relocation of school buildings and facilities, as well as other capital outlay projects. The position also assists in the District’s facility planning process.

Salary Info

$50.00/month cell phone allowance

Comments and Other Information

The District pays $1,375 monthly cap in place for medical, dental, vision and life insurance, plus $50 monthly telephone stipend. Salary shall be in accordance with the Classified Management Salary Schedule. CalPERS retirement, vacation, sick and holiday pay. The Lassen Union High School District is located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Susanville, CA, which is approximately 2 hours from Redding, CA or 1.5 hours from Reno, NV.
