Laser Application Engineer - Laser Application Center
📍 Location: Pune, Maharashtra
🧑🎓 Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Material Science, Metallurgy, or Laser Technology
Certifications in laser welding, optical systems, or related technologies are a plus
📅
Professional Experience
Minimum 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in laser welding applications
Preferred exposure to:
Powertrain Laser Welding
Battery Welding
Other industrial laser welding domains
Experience in both lab-based R&D and on-field customer support is essential

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage projects independently within the Laser Application Center
Provide technical support and on-site assistance to customers across India
Conduct feasibility studies, process development, and sample preparation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized laser solutions
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and project milestones in CRM systems
Prepare and present technical documentation, project reports, and training materials
Ensure clear and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders

Skills & Competencies
In-depth knowledge of laser welding processes, equipment, and safety protocols
Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor deliverables
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other presentation tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer engagements
Familiarity with CRM platforms and structured documentation practices

Travel Requirement
Willingness to travel extensively across PAN India for customer support, installations, trials, and troubleshooting
