Summary:
As a Large Language Model Developer, a typical day involves refining and adapting advanced language models to better suit specific domains and instructions. This role focuses on enhancing the model's ability to understand and generate contextually relevant responses by carefully adjusting its parameters and training data. Collaboration with various teams to align the model's capabilities with project goals is a key aspect, ensuring that the solutions developed meet the unique needs of different applications. Continuous evaluation and iteration are part of the daily routine to maintain and improve model performance in diverse scenarios.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of strategies to optimize model fine-tuning processes.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development within the team to foster continuous improvement.
- Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and technical assistance.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience with model fine-tuning techniques including instruction fine-tuning and domain adaptation.
- Strong understanding of natural language processing concepts and transformer architectures.
- Ability to analyze and preprocess large datasets to improve model training outcomes.
- Familiarity with evaluation metrics to assess model performance and relevance.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate model solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Large Language Models (LLMs).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
