JOB SUMMARY: Develops and maintains a deep understanding of Laramie County Community College’s strategic priorities. Proactively engages with subject matter experts across LCCC to extract and translate business requirements into functional specifications, process flows, analytical tools, and project management plans. Evaluates historical and current departmental processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement and support informed decision-making. Fosters collaborative relationships with stakeholders to promote shared goals and leverage best practices.
Position Duties
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: – this position is exempt and is not eligible for compensatory or overtime pay provisions of the FLSA.

Strategic Project Management– Leads and supports strategic projects that advance LCCC’s institutional priorities.
- Supports campus initiatives by assisting with project scoping, milestone development, timeline tracking, and alignment with strategic goals.
- Serve as a project manager under the guidance of the Strategic Projects Director.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment by organizing kickoff meetings, steering committees, and regular engagement sessions.
- Facilitate regular project status updates, stakeholder check-ins, and post-project evaluations.
- Promote continuous improvement, develop and maintain project documentation, and support change management efforts.
Process Improvement & Business Analyst Support– Lead process improvement initiatives by delivering clear, actionable requirements and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to independently elicit and document functional and technical requirements.
- Analyze current-state business processes and data flows and develop clear and comprehensive documentation.
- Apply core business analyst competencies.
Training– Provides training and documentation support.
- Define training requirements to deliver comprehensive support to end users.
- Create and update internal Strategic Projects Office training documentation.
- Produce training materials to reflect current systems, workflows, and strategic priorities.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of business analysis frameworks, project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and process improvement strategies.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems, data governance, and cross-functional collaboration in academic environments.
- Understanding of change management principles and their application in colleges and universities.
- Awareness of training design principles and adult learning strategies to support end-user adoption.
- Knowledge of business, data, and technology to recommend systems and process improvements.
Skills - Analytical and critical thinking skills to assess business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
- Proficient in requirements gathering techniques such as stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process mapping.
- Skilled in developing project documentation, including charters, work plans, risk assessments, and communication plans.
- Effective communicator with the ability to translate technical concepts into accessible language for diverse audiences.
- Competent in using project management and business analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms).
- Capable of designing and delivering training materials and sessions tailored to project needs and system changes.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:- There may be occurrences of interacting with employees and/or students, past employees and/or students, members of the general public, and others who express opinions, may exhibit strong emotions, which will require the employee to interact professionally, diplomatically, and appropriately in such situations
- While performing the essential duties of this position, an employee would frequently be required to move around the assigned work areas as well as within hallways, meeting rooms, and other parts of the campus facilities
- There may be multiple/daily instances of prolonged sitting, standing, and personal computer use, which would include keyboard and/or mouse usage as well as viewing a computer monitor
- An employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
- The overall work environment requires the mental ability to shift focal point quickly due to interruptions; an employee must be able to mentally track multiple projects and tasking as well

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
- 3 years of relevant experience implementing data-driven strategies to improve business processes
*In lieu of the required degree, candidates with equivalent professional experience, industry certifications, or a combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered. Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Entry Certification in Business Analytics (ECBA) certification
