Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Laptop / Desktop Repair Technician role based in Hyderabad. The technician will diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in laptops and desktops, perform component-level repairs and replacements, and carry out routine equipment maintenance to ensure reliable performance. Responsibilities include refurbishing devices for reuse, installing and updating operating systems and essential software, and accurately documenting repairs, parts used, and service outcomes. The role involves interacting with users and internal teams to understand issues, explain repair work, and support high levels of customer satisfaction. The technician will also help maintain an organized workshop, follow safety and quality standards, and support continuous improvement in repair and refurbishing processes aligned with Elima’s circular economy mission.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in laptops and desktops.
- Hands-on experience with equipment maintenance and appliance repair, including component replacement, cleaning, and preventive servicing.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction, with clear and professional communication skills for explaining technical issues and repair outcomes.
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS preferred), basic networking, and standard productivity software.
- Ability to work safely with electronic components, use diagnostic tools, and follow repair and ESD protocols.
- Attention to detail in documenting work, tracking inventory, and maintaining organized workspaces.
- Prior experience in computer hardware servicing, IT support, or electronics repair is highly beneficial.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in electronics, computer hardware, or a related field is preferred.
Eligibility
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics / ECE or related field
Freshers are welcome to apply
Candidates with up to 1 year of experience in laptop/desktop repair are also encouraged to apply
Salary
💰 ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (Based on skills and experience)
