Role Description
The Laptop Desk Support L1 - Fresher role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The individual will provide first-level technical support to users, diagnose and resolve basic hardware and software issues, and forward complex matters to higher-level support teams. Daily responsibilities include assisting with system setup, troubleshooting issues, ensuring system performance, and maintaining accurate technical documentation. This role requires proactive communication and excellent problem-solving skills to ensure a seamless user experience.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of hardware and troubleshooting, such as diagnosing laptop malfunctions and performing basic hardware repairs.
- Proficiency in operating systems and software troubleshooting, including resolving common errors, application installations, and updates.
- Familiarity with network basics, such as connecting devices and resolving WiFi and internet connectivity issues.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to assist and guide users in resolving technical issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Customer service orientation and a responsive attitude to provide timely and effective support.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Prior internship or training in IT support will be considered an advantage.
