About SPOT
SPOT is a project-based learning studio built for:

Role Overview
We are looking for a Language & Theatre Facilitator who can help children:
• Speak with confidence
• Express ideas clearly
• Build strong English communication skills
• Use theatre as a medium for learning and self-expression
This role sits at the intersection of:
Language + Communication + Performance
Key Responsibilities
1. Build Strong Language Foundations (English)
• Improve:
• Speaking
• Listening
• Reading
• Writing
• Move beyond grammar drills to:
• Real conversations
• Storytelling
• Context-based learning
2. Use Theatre as a Learning Tool
• Design and facilitate:
• Role plays
• Skits
• Theatre exercises
• Lead:
• Script development
• Rehearsals
• Performances
3. Work with Gifted & 2E Learners
• Support:
• Children who think deeply but struggle to express
• Children who need alternative ways to communicate
• Personalize learning based on:
• Communication style
• Confidence level
• Strength areas
4. Build Communication & Confidence
Help children:
• Present ideas clearly
• Participate in discussions
• Speak in groups and public settings
5. Integrate Across SPOT Studios
Collaborate with:
• Humanities → storytelling, debates
• Business → pitches, presentations
• Psychology → emotional expression
6. Support IGCSE & NIOS Pathways
Guide learners in:
IGCSE:
• English Language
• English Literature
NIOS:
• English
• Functional English
Who We’re Looking For
Must-have:
• Strong command over English
• Confidence in theatre / performance / facilitation
• Ability to engage children actively
Good to have:
• Background in:
• Theatre / drama
• Literature / communication
• Experience with:
• Children or alternative learning spaces
This Role Is NOT For You If:
• You focus only on grammar and textbooks
• You prefer lecture-style teaching
• You are uncomfortable with performance or facilitation

Within 3–6 months:
• Students:
• Speak more confidently
• Express ideas clearly
• Participate actively
• You build:
• A strong culture of storytelling and performance at SPOT
