The Strategic Account Representative is responsible for managing key pharmaceutical and biotechnology accounts and serving as a primary point of contact for assigned customers. This role requires strong executive-level communication skills, industry knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chains, and high proficiency in data reporting and analysis. The position ensures exceptional service delivery, operational execution, KPI reporting accuracy, and customer retention.
Key Outcomes Expected
- Serve as dedicated account owner for assigned pharmaceutical clients, supporting relationship development and customer retention.
- Lead weekly KPI communications and reporting; present performance results confidently to customer executives.
- Partner with Operations, Quality, Transportation, IT, and Finance to meet customer expectations and resolve issues.
- Support pharmaceutical operational needs including cGMP/GDP warehousing, temperature control, chain-of-custody, and data documentation.
- Drive renewal, growth, and expansion initiatives within assigned accounts.
- Participate in business reviews, forecasting discussions, and quality-related conversations.

Technical Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (metric tracking, reporting, data analysis).

- Knowledge of electronic dock scheduling systems.
- Knowledge of electronic Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Supply Chain, Life Sciences or similar).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant account management or client-facing experience.
- Experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated logistics environments.
- Understanding of cGMP/GDP warehousing and temperature-controlled supply chains.
- Exposure to DSCSA/serialization practices and quality event documentation.
Work Environment: Combination of warehouse, cold-chain storage, and office environments. Exposure to temperature-controlled areas and powered industrial equipment. Occasional travel to customer sites as needed
