The Community Health Centers of Lane County (CHCLC) is seeking a Clinic Services Supervisor to provide the full range of supervisory duties to include personnel and resource management comprised of coordinating staffing support, scheduling, hiring, and enforcement of performance standards. Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, implementation of evidenced based practice, policy enforcement, performance/quality improvement, utilization management, HRSA preparedness, staff education and competency validation, direct patient care activities and other support activities within the scope of practice.


The CHCLC is a division of Lane County Health & Human Services. This Clinical Supervisor position will be a part of a collaborative CHCLC leadership team who oversee day-to-day operations and activities of clinic staff for West 11th Rapid Access and Primary Care Clinic. We are looking for candidates with knowledge and experience working and supervising medical providers, nurses, medical assistants, and office assistants. This leader advises the senior leadership on clinic needs; reviews, recommends changes, and assists in the development of regulations, procedures, and other matters. As a Clinical Supervisor, you are responsible for working with senior leaders to optimize team performance, Community Care Organization Metrics, Oregon Health Authority Primary Care Patient Centered Medical Home, preventive health care measures, access to care and other organizational directed initiatives. You will support the CHCLC vision, mission, and organizational strategic themes for performance by aligning clinic initiatives and practices with FQHC and OHA regulations. You will participate in CHCLC meetings/activities to enhance the quality of management practices, policy definition, procedures, and programs.

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Position Duties

Education and Experience:

  • Eight years of education and/or experience in business or medical office administration, or similar, including one year of experience in a supervisory, management, or leadership role;
  • Or an equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.

Special Requirements:
  • Those with clinical licenses or certifications (e.g., LPN, MA, EMT) are encouraged to apply. 
  • Individuals with less than a four year degree need additional years of healthcare job experience to qualify.
  • 2 years supervisory experience preferred.

DRIVER’S LICENSE

Must be in possession of a valid driver's license at time of application, and a valid Oregon Driver's license by time of appointment.
