Role Description The Landscaping Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi, responsible for overseeing daily landscape maintenance and installation activities. This role includes planning and assigning tasks to crew members, monitoring work quality, and ensuring schedules and project specifications are met. The supervisor will coordinate gardening and irrigation work, support basic landscape design implementation, and ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials. The role involves inspecting sites, identifying maintenance needs, managing safety practices, and communicating with clients or management regarding project status. The Landscaping Supervisor will also train team members, maintain records of work completed, and support continuous improvement of field operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Landscape Maintenance and Landscaping to oversee daily operations and ensure high-quality results.
- Candidates should possess skills in Gardening and Irrigation to manage plant care, watering systems, and outdoor environmental conditions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Landscape Design to interpret plans and support the implementation of aesthetic and functional outdoor layouts.
- Experience supervising field crews, allocating tasks, and maintaining safety standards in outdoor work environments.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, site plans, and basic technical instructions; strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members, contractors, and clients; ability to provide clear directions and feedback.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and to operate or oversee the use of landscaping tools and equipment.
- Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, or related fields; vocational training or certification in landscaping or horticulture is an advantage.
