Job details:
We are looking for a Landscape Design & Planning Specialist who can independently develop
interior landscaping proposals for corporate and commercial projects. The role involves translating
architectural layouts and site photos into aesthetic, functional landscape designs, preparing
accurate BOQs, and supporting the commercial team with design-ready documentation for client
proposals. This role sits at the intersection of design, technical detailing, and pre-commercial
coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design & Concept Development
Study architectural drawings, site photographs, and client briefs to develop interior
landscaping concepts.
Propose area-wise planting solutions for receptions, cabins, cafeterias, common areas,
meeting rooms, terraces, etc.
Select appropriate plant species based on light, space, aesthetics, and maintenance
feasibility.
Provide alternate design and plant options wherever required.
2.Internal Coordination & Design Handover
Work closely with sales, commercial, and operations teams for smooth project handover.
Support design clarifications during pre-order and execution stages.
Assist in value engineering by suggesting cost-effective alternatives when required.
3. BOQ Preparation & Quantity Take-Off
Prepare accurate, area-wise Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for:
Plants
Planters
Accessories and planting media
Ensure BOQs are aligned with design intent and suitable for commercial costing.
Coordinate with the commercial team to address costing-related clarifications.
4. Proposal & Presentation Development
Create professional, client-ready proposal presentations including:
Layout overlays
Visual references
Plant and planter option sheets
Technical notes and system explanations
Maintain consistency with company branding and proposal standards.
Support revisions based on client feedback.
5. Technical Detailing & Specifications
Finalise detailed specifications for:
Plant varieties and sizes
Planter materials, dimensions, finishes, and colors
Planting systems (pot-in-pot, LECA, drainage, top dressing)
Clearly define scope inclusions, exclusions, and assumptions for each proposal.
Ensure designs are execution-friendly and procurement-ready.
Other Requirements:
• Beginner knowledge of indoor plants, planters, and interior landscaping systems.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior layout drawings.
• Proficiency in: AutoCAD (intermediate), Revvit, Sketch Up, PowerPoint / InDesign / Canva,
MS Excel (BOQs and quantity tracking)
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in:
Interior Design
Landscape Architecture
Horticulture (with design exposure)
