Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Land Surveyor role based in the Greater Visakhapatnam Area. The Land Surveyor will conduct field surveys for wind and solar project sites, including topographic and boundary surveys to support site selection, design, and construction. Responsibilities include operating survey instruments, collecting accurate spatial data, preparing survey drawings, and collaborating with engineering and project development teams. The role involves verifying land features, recording measurements, and ensuring that survey data meets technical, regulatory, and safety standards. The Land Surveyor will also assist with updating site plans, resolving discrepancies in existing surveys, and supporting permitting and land acquisition activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Land Surveying and Surveying for utility-scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess practical skills in Topographic Surveys, including boundary, contour, and construction layout surveys.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Total Station and related surveying instruments and software.
- Candidates should possess experience in Building Surveying for foundations, access roads, and structural layouts.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Surveying, or a related field.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, maps, and site plans, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfort working outdoors in varying site conditions and adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Prior experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or construction projects is an advantage.
