Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Land Surveying Specialist, located in Hagaribommanahalli, Karnataka. The specialist will be responsible for conducting topographical, land, and building surveys, utilizing tools like Total Stations to ensure precise measurements and data collection. The role involves preparing detailed survey reports and collaborating with MIS and engineering teams for planning and execution of renewable energy projects. The candidate will also verify boundaries, analyze survey data, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and guidelines.
- Carry out boundary Survey/ marking and prepare boundary maps to support land team.
- Proficiency in using GPS, Theodalite, Total Station Survey, for the above works.
- Autocad Drawings on the field measurements.
- Approve and sign all notes, maps, and other related documents.
- Preparation of FmB (Field Measurement Book).
- Perform legal, land use planning surveys for authorities and provide advice and assistance to other departments.
- Distribute legal deeds and other land security related documents to purchasers or borrowers on behalf of the government or customers according to their request.
- Assist in examining plans, adding new plans when applicable and maintaining a record of every plan that is processed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Topographic Surveys and Land Surveying techniques
- Experience with Land Surveying and FmB
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret maps, GIS data, and legal documents
- Knowledge of applicable land survey and cadastral regulations
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Engineering or Surveying degree or diploma is preferred
