Job Description – Land Liaisoning Executive / Officer (Real Estate Developer)

Job Summary
The Land Liaisoning Officer is responsible for handling land-related coordination, government liaisoning, statutory approvals, documentation, and regulatory compliance for real estate development projects. The role involves coordination with government departments, local authorities, landowners, legal consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth acquisition and approval processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaison with government departments such as DTCP, HUDA/HSVP, Municipal Corporation, Revenue Department, Tehsil, Registry Office, Town Planning, Pollution Board, Fire Department, and other statutory authorities.
- Handle land acquisition processes including title verification, mutation, registry, land conversion, CLU, and due diligence documentation.
- Coordinate for obtaining approvals such as Layout Approval, Building Plan Sanction, NOCs, RERA registration, CC, OC, Fire NOC, and environmental clearances.
- Follow up with government authorities for timely approvals and clearances.
- Maintain strong relationships with local authorities, consultants, architects, landowners, brokers, and legal agencies.
- Conduct site visits, land surveys, and verification activities.
- Monitor movement of files and resolve queries/objections raised by departments.
- Coordinate with legal and project teams regarding land records and documentation.
- Maintain records of approvals, licenses, agreements, and compliance documents.
- Ensure compliance with local development laws, land laws, and RERA regulations.
- Support management in negotiation and finalization of land deals.
- Prepare MIS reports and status updates for management review.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of land acquisition and real estate approval processes.
- Good understanding of CLU, registry, mutation, land conversion, and statutory approvals.
- Strong liaisoning and government coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to handle documentation and follow-up independently.
- Good networking with local authorities and consultants.
- Proficiency in MS Office and documentation management.
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Law, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or Real Estate Management).
- MBA/LLB will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 8–10 years of experience in land liaising and approvals in real estate development projects.
- Experience in township, residential, commercial, or plotted developments preferred.
