About the Role
We are looking for core valuation professionals with hands-on experience in Land & Building or Plant & Machinery valuation. The ideal candidate should have worked with valuation firms, banks, NBFCs, or financial institutions and possess practical experience in conducting site inspections, preparing valuation reports, and assessing assets for lending, insurance, financial reporting, or regulatory purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections and physical verification of land, buildings, industrial plants, and machinery.
- Evaluate asset condition, specifications, depreciation, and remaining useful life.
- Perform valuations using standard methodologies such as Cost, Market, and Income Approaches.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive valuation reports in line with industry and regulatory standards.
- Verify ownership documents, approvals, technical records, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, auditors, and clients throughout the valuation process.
- Maintain detailed records, photographs, calculations, and valuation documentation.
- Travel to client locations for inspections and asset assessments.
Eligibility
For Land & Building Valuer
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture.
For Plant & Machinery Valuer
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Production / Electrical Engineering.
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of core valuation experience.
- Experience working with valuation firms, banks, NBFCs, or consulting organizations.
- Strong understanding of valuation principles and asset assessment.
- Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Strong analytical, observation, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for site inspections.
Preferred
- Experience in valuations for loan security, mortgage, insurance, financial reporting, insolvency, or M&A.
- Immediate joiners or candidates serving notice period.
