System-level technical ownership/integration across mechanical, electrical, software, controls, mechatronics, and process engineering.
Define system architecture, requirements, and integration strategy from concept through production.
Author/own systems engineering artifacts (e.g., top-level specs/architecture, System Theory of Operation, and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)).
Decompose systems into functional subsystems with clear interfaces, error budgets, and design margins; maintain P&IDs, interconnect definitions, and signal lists (port maps).
Own system-level validation: approve test plans/results against requirements and produce validation/test reports.
Drive DFx (reliability, manufacturability, serviceability, safety, cost) and own/approve system-level FMEA and risk mitigation.
Influence and lead without formal authority; drive closure of cross-functional technical actions and decisions.
Partner with Program Management and Product/Technical Owners to balance scope, cost, schedule, and performance.
